Dog Whisperer

You may be wondering about my title and you will find out more about it when you read it. So to start right off the bat, I'll tell you how I got this title.
So, there were a bunch of thunderstorms in Bloomington. One came at night by our house. I was in bed and it was raining and there was a lot of thunder. Then, in the night, Nikita got nervous and ended up in my room to settle down. We think Lizzie followed her. Nikita was sleeping but Lizzie was crammed under my desk. I found this out by waking up in the middle of the night. I saw this and then fell back to sleep.    When I woke up my parents were in my room and chattering like birds. Lizzie was gone but Nikita was passed out on the floor. Since then my parents have called me the "Dog Whisperer."
Nikita usually isn't afraid of storms and she went to my parent's room first yet found comfort in my room. Lizzie also seems to find comfort with Nikita. They hang out a lot in the family room.
Lizzie has found a new hobby, digging for moles. Hoover seems to enjoy it as well. He watches Lizzie dig. She has yet to catch one. My parents tell me Nikita was quite the mole catcher in her younger days. She would wait by the hole for the moles. Yet I have another story.
We were going to take Lizzie out when she got real hyper. Mom said, "Does Lizzie wanna go for a walk?" And Lizzie would howl and run to the door and back. She was jumping around. It seems that she understands English. And Lizzie got her walk. Now she is passed out from her busy day.
I'm taking the week off from camps. We'll have to see what my parents have in store for me. I know one thing, we won't be watching fireworks in Bloomington. It's because there isn't enough money for it.
