It was where you would receive a kit with all the pieces you needed to make a robot. It was a lot of fun. I ended up having to make our entire robot. My partner was just playing Star Craft on the computer. At least my robot did well in our robot fights and I feel independent.
The next camp was a blast as well. This camp was Written and Illustrated By. Well, for me, it was written by. This camp was where you would write your own story and illustrate it if you chose to. My story was about a wolf surviving the wild and with a dark memory of his parents death.
That will really be all about my camps for the week. Now it should be time to talk about my experience in fostering. Personally, I feel good when I do something to help a dog. I feel great! And of course, when I see a dog go, I feel sad at their departure. Yet I know they are getting a great new home. Here are some moments that make me feel happy when I think of our fosters.

Sebastian had his slipper paws and the twirl he would always do when it was dinner time. Mimi was kind of boring but sweet. Mitzi was sassy and I'll never forget when she got our potatoes off the counter. Lumen seemed to have a bad case of separation anxiety. I'll never forget the candy canes she got off the table and finished off.
Alue was often seen as laid back and Lucien was a good boy. Pulaski would eat faster than the other dogs and then hang around watching them eat. When they were done, he would lick the bowls. And Lizzie can yodel well and her trade mark is backing into you for butt scratches.
These are all fun things about my fosters. If you have a pet story that makes you laugh or smile, please share in the comments and tell your story. Stay tuned, for more sled dog adventures and camp stories.
Perseus(fka Alue) bounces like Tigger at meal times but only with his front legs. When he is getting sardines he gets so excited he just stays in one place bouncing and I can barely get past him to put his bowl down.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes me laugh is watching Hoover play catch with his toys. He can really fling his toys. Then we get a laugh when Nikita lets him know she has had enough of his game. - Peg
