Summer Fun

Today's post will be about a soccer camp which I did this past week and Cutters tryouts. I don't want to turn my blog into a soccer blog but the dogs haven't done much. But first I'll talk about IU soccer. The conditions were hot yet I gave it my all. It has great coaches and is a lot of fun! But after IU camp on Tuesday and Wednesday, I had tryouts for U-11.

Tryouts were fun as well, though right in a week of soccer, a little tiring. But I played hard, smart and well. And that showed. I'm on the Red Team. The Red Team plays harder competition than the other two teams.
And to top off everything, I have a new indoor soccer league.  So, I'll be pretty busy for the next several weeks along with other camps I shall mention on my next post if you're patient enough.
Now for Movie Review time! Today I have two movies. The very old Radio Land Murders and the very young Man of Steel
Radio Land Murders is a murder mystery comedy about the "new" radio station WBN. WBN has just started broadcasting  and to celebrate the station is performing in front of a live audience. But someone is killing off employees. It's up to Rodger Henderson to find out who the killer is and what are his motives. This is a must watch.
Man of Steel is the new Superman movie as you all know. This is a great edge of your seat thriller. Superman must face General Zod and the remaining Kryptonians in an epic battle to the finish.
And I have just got news about Lizzie. At my Father's Day cook out Lizzie refused to get off the sidewalk. She stubbornly sat on the sidewalk. Even Nikita got off the sidewalk to sit in the grass.  Yet the shish kabobs were great. My compliments to the cook.
Since this is a Sled dog blog, checkout Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue. They have lots of great dogs looking to be adopted.  Stay tuned for more on Lizzie's life with Nikita and Hoover.

  1. Glad you liked "Radio Land Murders", Ian! I had a feeling you would. Now we just have to get out to see Man of Steel.

Congratulations on all your soccer success. Just don't let it go to your head. ~_^
