The YMCA Late Night and the Race

This week was the week I went to the Y and guess what? It was the overnight! All the kids that went would have the choice of spending the night at the Y and doing a bunch of great fun stuff, like going out into the woods and playing lots of games.
But before the sleepover would come we went to the Bryan Park pool, where I learned a very important lesson. It is always good to put on too much sunscreen. I was cooked on my shoulders Thursday. So I was miserable for a short while but today I'm feeling much better.  I had a fun time because I was able to stay up to 3:50 a.m. with my friends watching movies. It was great to be reunited with my two good friends and one got a black eye.
We were playing dodge ball when he threw a ball at a kid and the kid got mad and tackled him. Though I suppose you would  like to hear about less violent things like a bicycle race.

It was the fun annual race in Bloomington. I was hoping one person from the Trek sponsor would win a race, for there were several, but no one did. At least Mom got some OK pictures (don't tell her I said that.) I enjoyed eating pizza and watching the races. There were a couple of crashes but no one seemed to get hurt too badly.
Start of the race

I hope you like hearing about Mom. After the shelter, we went to the driving range because a special camp is coming  this week. She could not hit a good ball! I mean her shots went in the air and landed a few yards away.
If you want to hear more about golf blunders stay tuned for my next post. There shall also be big news as well! The dogs meet the city.
I made a friend today
