Another man killed two malamutes because they followed him home and did not leave his home when they got out of their yard. And one more man shot another husky, named Tyson, because he thought the dog was aggressive with his tail between his legs. That is a sign of submission.
I don't understand it, it makes me sad. I'm glad that our neighbors have helped the couple of times our dogs got out rather than shoot first. But I should talk about a lighter topic.
Lizzie improved her mole hunting tactics. She may have talked with Nikita for instead of coming to the mole she waits for the mole to come to her. So far she has caught no moles but still could. Hoover and Lizzie also enjoyed running in between the branches of half a tree that fell during a storm. That is until Dad and the neighbor chopped the tree up.
This week was a soccer week. I went to the YMCA and did British Soccer in the afternoon and South soccer in the evening. I think I did well because we won a tournament at the British Soccer camp and at South soccer I stood up to older kids when I was paired up with them. The coaches were nice and I learned a lot from them.
But you will want to stay tuned for mole progress and an animal shelter camp. Also there is another bigger soccer tournament at Karst Park on Saturday, Hurryin Hackers. 'Nuff said!

Good job,Ian, getting the word out on these incredibly tragic incidents of animal cruelty. Terrific young people like you are the best defense these animals have now, and in the future. Thank you.

Hang in there, Ian. Unfortunately, there are many things that happen in the world that make no sense to me. But there are many, many good and kind people out there, too, and their stories get told as well. I'd like to think that the good outweighs the bad.
ReplyDeleteThink you'll still want to see Pacific Rim next week? *grin*
Some strangers thought my Annui was a wolf. Your information about the sled dogs really saddens me. Now that my heart has healed, I am looking forward to adopting another sled dog. I was thrilled to see you at the Shelter and know you and my grandies will have a wonderful week!
