Lizzie is usually very restless. You can often find Lizzie in any room that is quiet. She usually prefers my bedroom, downstairs or my parent's bedroom. Lizzie is not a big biscuit dog though. We often find them in bedrooms or on a dog bed, if they aren't found by Hoover.
Hoover is what you call a loyal dog. Hoover usually sleeps by the door waiting for us to come home. We often see him waiting at the door when we come home. He is the alarm system. Sometimes Nikita and Lizzie will join him at the door. It is always a bit of a hazard when Nikita goes to the door because she has been knocked over by the other two. Her old legs can't always support her.Now that we have gone over our current dogs, I think we should give a couple of our fosters a shout out. Lumen, frankly was the worse. We tried Lumen in a crate at first, that was not a good idea. Lumen destroyed the tray in the crate. Let me remind you, she only weighed about 30 pounds. We thought maybe she didn't like crates, so we tried her out of the crate. That was an even bigger mistake. We assumed Lumen jumped onto the dinner table and consumed lots of candy canes that were in a box on the table. All we found were pieces of wrappers all over the family room. For a day her droppings were multicolored. She also chewed on mum's flip camera. My mum said, "At least she didn't eat the sofa." We went back to the crate. The crate wasn't the best but it kept her contained. She managed to bend a few bars on the crate. My parents were VERY happy when Lumen was adopted, even if it was on my birthday.
Do you know what your pets do when they are home alone?
