A Big Haul

I had a blast trick-or-treating or should I say, "E=mc2." I had an enjoyable time getting candy with my friends. I was the glorious Albert Einstein, the man who won a Nobel Prize. I had to shave when my mustache started flopping everywhere. We walked in my friend's neighborhood and got loads of candy. I'm glad to announce no one gave us a toothbrush this year. I already have two.       The dogs had a good experience greeting their first trick-or-treaters. We use to live in the country and never had anyone come to our house. Hoover loved going to the door to see the kids. He got lots of attention. Lizzie waited at the door but always shied away when someone came. Nikita even lumbered over to the door a couple of times. Hoover was exhausted at the end of the night.
The next day (which was Saturday) we had a game against Westside. This was the team we lost 9-0. I must say, we did considerably better than the last game. Cutters lost the game, 5-4. The good thing is it was exciting. I had a goal and two other shots on goal. The whole team did well, yet I need to work on blocking balls. On a free kick I ducked instead of letting the ball hit me. Of course I was the only person in the wall trying to block the shot.
Hoover and Lizzie got to test their stake out skills this weekend. They've been looking up a lot lately. They would really like to get to know the squirrels in our trees. Yet, they were foiled again.
This was the end of the soccer season which makes me sad. Yet, an even more exciting event will come if you stay tuned.

  1. You made my Halloween by stopping by my house. It super seeing and talking with you and your Mom. I appreciate you taking the time to come, since you had already been out with your buddies and your mustache had lost its stickiness!! Loved the costume! Glad to hear your team did so much better on Sat. and congrats on the goal. Your dogs look so clean and beautiful and I was wondering where they are groomed? Maybe you do it!! Enjoy the day off tomorrow.
