We were hammered first by the West Side on Saturday. We lost nine to nil. At least we improved when we played Fishers on Sunday. We still lost 3 to nil but the last time we played Fishers we lost 7-1. We held them to one goal for most of the game but then they got two quick goals.
We also went to the birthday party for two soccer friend's parents birthday. We were able to have some great ribs from the Barbeque Train. We also played a great "sport" called corn-hole. I played my mom and she beat me every time when she needed to get a bag through the hole! She says it was all skill. By the way, does anyone know the official rules of corn-hole? I want to beat my mom.
The sled dogs haven't done much this past week. Except the girls, Nikita and Lizzie, picked on Hoover but they might do something next week.

ReplyDeleteAnd if the girls were picking on Hoover, tell us how! You left out the best part. ~_^
Really sorry to hear about your losses, but at least you have a good attitude about them.
Go Cutters!
Thanks for the plug for Oakley, Ian! We did give him one grooming but years of neglect means we'll need to take another run at it. He's recovering from kennel cough so we didn't want to put him through any more stress. Have you ever SEEN a sweeter face? :)
