It snowed more than what we expected on Sunday. There was so much snow! We decided we needed to take the dogs out for a walk. We were only going to take Hoover and Lizzie. We thought the snow might be too deep for Nikita, but she wast too persistent to be left behind. We started by heading to the skate park, we thought Nikita could handle the parking lot. Oh boy, were we wrong. Hoover and Lizzie went inside the skate park with mum, while I got on my snowshoes and walked around. Then dad gets the idea to let Nikita join in. Everything was going fine until Nikita slid into one of the pits. Fortunately, there was a lot of snow to slide into. As soon as Hoover saw Nikita was stuck in the pit, he dashed over to check on his adopted mom. Mum was there and dad came over when mum yelled for help. Because it was dad's idea to let Nikita in, dad had to get her out. There was no way Nikita was going to walk out of that pit. Dad had to carry Nikita out of the pit. After seeing this, I took off my snowshoes and joined the dogs in the skate park. They got bored more quickly than I thought they would. We thought it would be best if dad took Nikita home before he would have to carry her.

I put my snowshoes back on and mum and I headed out with Hoover and Lizzie. Our walk took awhile because Hoover kept diving into the snow. Although one time, Hoover and Lizzie both smelled something. They dived their heads into the snow so I did joined them. I always said I had husky blood. After the brief stop, we tried to do a better job of keeping Hoover on task so we could finish our hike. The snow was so deep that there were times the dogs had to hop and trudge through the snow. I had little trouble because my snowshoes aided me greatly.

One more thing hindered us, I had to climb the great mountain. The great mountain was just a large pile of snow but I have a vivid imagination so to me it was an enormous mountain. I climbed the mountain with my trusty steed Hoover. When we reached the top, mum took a picture of us at the peak. Then things went down hill, literally. As I descended the "mountain", the snow collapsed. I barely survived the two foot drop. Slightly embarrassed, I got up and brushed myself off. We then headed for home.
People say dogs can't talk with humans. Well this puppy is trying to prove them wrong. Many of you may have already seen this video, but every time I watch this video I crack up. I hope you do too.
